Most modern smartphones released after 2018 support eSIM. On iPhone, go to Settings → General → About and look for "Available SIM" or "Digital SIM". On Android, check Settings → Network → SIM → Add eSIM. You can also check our device compatibility list.
After purchasing, go to Settings → Cellular → Add eSIM. Choose "Use QR Code" and scan the QR code from your Zyroam order confirmation email. Follow the on-screen prompts to activate your plan. The eSIM will be ready to use in minutes.
Open Settings → Network & Internet → SIMs → Add SIM. Select "Scan QR code" and scan the code from your order email. Once installed, set it as your preferred data SIM when abroad.
Your data validity period starts from the moment your eSIM first connects to a local network at your destination — not from when you purchase or install it. The duration depends on the plan you chose (e.g. 7 days, 15 days, 30 days).
Simply search for your destination country in our eSIM store, choose a data plan, complete checkout, and you'll receive your QR code by email instantly. The whole process takes under 2 minutes.
Make sure Data Roaming is turned on for the eSIM line (Settings → Cellular → your Zyroam eSIM → Data Roaming). Also confirm your device is not in Airplane Mode. If issues persist, try toggling the eSIM off and back on, or contact our support team.
